Why does whoopi goldberg have no eyebrows

I have seen way too many ladies who have plucked their eyebrows to oblivion, then penciled them back in very neat, uniform lines. I learned, however, that the eyebrow pencil is a quick and easy tool to use once you get the hang of creating a natural looking brow. No thin eyebrows are not that much attractive. A well-groomed brow helps to shape the face and creates a natural appearance. A fuller, well-shaped eyebrow can really change the way your face looks.

According to a recent study conducted at MIT, famous faces are rendered unrecognizable in the absence of eyebrows, whereas faces without eyes are still identifiable. Why do people look so different without eyebrows?
