Q u o t e: This should be interesting considering my mage was fully rested well into 82, yet after finishing Hyjal he was only part way through 81, and thus had to complete a large portion of Vash'jr. Based on that, I was wondering how toons starting either zone at 78 would have enough quests to get to Guess I don't have to worry anymore ; The experience curve is being tweaked so that you will be level 82 upon completing Hyjal.
You will be a little over 82 if you opt to do Vashj'ir instead. Please note that we are in the process of doing some cleanup and polish to both zones so you may very well see quests disappear. Q u o t e: Could Warriors get fixed so that we're not massively nerfed from live? I approve of the spirit of this change, as if I were doing the damage I'm doing on live, I'd be killing things very quickly. As to the change in level, can a blue confirm whether it is intended for players to have to level to 80 to experience the new Cataclysm zones when the expansion drops?
I feel as though the strength of BC and Wrath was that they allowed you to go to the next expansion earlier if you wanted, meaning that they lasted for 10 levels for both max level and under levelled characters that just wanted to move through. I'm looking forward to the expansion to try and level some characters past the level 20 hump that I have where I just really dislike all the zones in the old world , but the 3rd and 4th time through Northrend were really not that fun, and having to do 12 levels there just seems unnecessary.
First of all, this isn't the complain about your class thread , so if you feel the need to comment stick to the subject matter at hand. Secondly, as the initial post indicated , you will not be able to quest in Mount Hyjal or Vashj'ir until level Put the Scepter of Domination on an action bar. Return to Voltarus and talk to Overlord Drakuru. You will be teleported to the roof. As soon as the Blightbloods are summoned use the scepter on one of them to get it as your pet.
You are going to use your Blightblood to tank Drakuru. For now only the Blightblood should be doing damage. While attacking with the Blightblood, you should stay towards the edge of the circle. Drakuru will throw Blight Crystals at you. Dodge them and stay away from the blight area they leave behind. As the Blightblood Troll approaches death, position yourself near another one. As the first dies, uses the Scepter of Domination on the second and send it in to attack.
You should have been doing nothing but dodging crystals and so should have no threat from Drakuru. The second Blightblood Troll should have no problem pulling aggro off of you. Feel free to help attacking now to speed up the kill.
Turn in Betrayal. Return to the Argent Stand 40, Go to Captain Brandon 48,78 and get Something for the Pain. Now look for tunnel entrances to the north-west between 56,70 and 52, Go back to Captain Rupert 58,72 and turn in Throwing Down. Go to the Kolramas field to the south. Two things we have to do here:. In the building just to the north-east 49,74 is the wounded Crusader Joshephine.
Now find cocoons in the area to the north-west where we were closing Nerubian tunnels earlier. Return to Captain Rupert 58,72 and turn in Cocooned! Go back to the Kolramas field to the south and look for the Plague Sprayers floating in the air. Go to the Kolramas necropolis at the north-east edge of the field 60, Look inside it for 10 Chunks of Saronite.
They are kind of small, so just look for the tell-tale golden sparkles. He is a group quest boss — challenging but soloable by any class at this level. He is immune to roots, but is vulnerable to some other types of crowd control, like stuns. Pet classes can tank him easily with their pet as long as they watch out for fire spawning underneath the pet.
Ranged classes can try kiting him. Melee will have to use whatever tricks they can to keep alive — e. Healers should be able to outheal the damage they take. Go to Captain Grondel inside the building at 48,63 and get the quest Creature Comforts. In and around the watery area to the west, there are three thing we need to do:.
When done with these, return to Captain Grondel 48,63 and turn in Creature Comforts. In the room to the south, loot the Muddy Mire Maggots from a sack there and the Withered Batwing and Chilled Serpent Mucus next to each other on the shelf on the east wall. In the northern room, loot Amberseed off any of the shelves. From Captain Arnath get Siphoning the Spirits.
The drop rates for these are surprisingly poor, so be patient. Return to the Argent Stand 40,65 and turn in. Get the available quests:. Also, you should easily have another 10 Drakkari Offerings by now.
This is particularly useful if you want to solo the group quests later in this guide. Kill any other Priests of Rhunok in the building so that you can safely fight Rhunok. Nothing to do here; just enjoy the ride. When the trip is completed, turn in I Sense a Disturbance and get the follow-up Preparations for the Underworld. Look around the area for Underworld Power Fragments. Look for the Soul Fonts in the area. Head south, leaving the spirit world. User Info: Decalyn.
Im pretty sure the starting quests start at 80 but near garosh hold there is a bilboard that has the starting quests. User Info: deatheven2.
